We use advanced digital technology to make radiographs of the teeth and surrounding important structures. This gives clear pictures and an instant result with a very significantly lower dose than with conventional radiography.
Complex Treatments often require the use of Cat Scans. These produce a three dimensional image. We have special software that allows us to use the Scans for interactive analysis and planing of complex treatment. They can also be used to make computer generated guides for use during surgery. The Scans are carried out at a nearby scanning center (Cavendish Imaging) and the results are emailed directly to our practice. Below you will see an example of an implant being planned using a Cat Scan.
