The Practice was founded in 1964 by Dr David Manson, one of the pioneers of the treatment for Periodontal Disease in the United Kingdom. He was succeeded by Dr Alan Sidi in 1989 who came from a similar teaching and research background. In 1991, we expanded treatments to include Dental Implant Surgery. Our surgery is now dedicated exclusively to the treatment of Periodontal Disease and Implant Surgery with the support of a team of hygienists.

Dr Alan Sidi is a Periodontist whose time is devoted mainly to clinical practice but he also teaches on the post-graduate program at Guys Hospital Dental School, London. He is a registered Specialist in Periodontics, has published papers internationally, lectures in the UK and Europe and has close links with the USA. He is a member of the Americam Academy of Periodontology, The British Society of Periodontology, The Royal Society of Medicine and The British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry.
