Initial Consultation: This is usually a 45 minute appointment during which an examination is carried out and if necessary radiographs taken. A diagnosis will be made and a treatment plan prepared. If the treatment plan is complex, a more detailed scan (CAT SCAN) may be required and the patient will be informed of this. A written treatment plan will be sent to the patient and dentist witin two weeks of the appointment. We can normally schedule new patient appointments within 2 weeks. We also make every effort to accommodate special situations that require more urgent examination and treatment such as pain and discomfort.

Hygienist visits:Our hygienists are very experienced in treating patients with Periodontal Disease. The visits for root planing are 45 minutes long. The oral hygiene will be reviewed each time the patient attends and appropriate advice given. There will be a number of these visits usually with 1-2 week breaks in between until all the deposits are removed and the patient is maintaining a good standard of oral hygiene. Thereafter patients are seen by Dr Sidi to review their progress and further treatment prescribed.
