Dental Hygiene
The hygienist will work with you towards improving your gum condition. She will show you how to adjust your cleaning techniques to control the deposits of bacteria that are responsible for gum disease.
Gum Disease
Signs of gum disease can be bleeding from the gums, loose teeth or teeth drifting from their normal position. Gum recession and bad breath can also be signs of gum disease.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are used to replace missing teeth and are made of special material which allows the bone to heal around them. Dental implants can be used to replace single or multiple teeth.
Bone Augmentation
When teeth are lost the bone supporting them can resorb making it difficult to place dental implants. The amount of bone can be increased by a procedure known as bone augmentation before the implant treatment begins.
Sinus Augmentation
The sinuses occupy much of the space in this region and the aim of this surgery is to place a graft below the sinus lining to create a greater quantity of bone at the sinus floor.
Gum Recession
Gum recession is caused by inflammation. This can be from the result of gum disease or over-vigorous brushing or using a hard tooth brush.
Crown Lengthening
Crown lengthening is a surgical procedure performed by a dentist to expose a greater amount of tooth. Where reconstructions are planned in the aesthetic zone we work with the referring colleague to achieve the best results.
