PERIODONTAL DISEASE

Patients referred for the treatment of Periodontal Disease will have a complete periodontal examination and full mouth long cone periapicals. A report with treatment plan will be provided to both the referring practitioner and patient.

Treatments
New patients usually have a series of visits for root planing and oral hygiene instruction carried out by our experienced hygienists followed by a review and preparation of a new treatment plan by Dr Sidi. All forms of periodontal surgery are carried out including guided tissue regeneration and soft tissue grafting for root coverage or ridge augmentation. We also offer long term periodontal maintenance for susceptible patients.

Dental Implants

Patients referred for treatment with dental implants have a full mouth soft and hard tissue assessment. Cat Scans are arranged where needed.

Treatments
Patients can be referred for implant placement or for grafting surgery only.

All surgical aspects of implantology are carried out at our practice including sinus augmentations and ridge augmentations. Immediate placement and immediate load protocols are carried out when appropriate.

No restorative work is carried out although posts can be placed for practitioners when requested.

We work with a number of specialist Prosthodontists that patients can be referred to if the referring General Practitioner does not wish to carry out the restoration of the implants.

The implant systems regularly used include 3i, ASTRA, ANKYLOS, ITI STRAUMAN and NOBEL REPLACE.
